Laura Hintzman
I'm a senior art director with five years of experience at HP, where I've led creative direction across global product launches, executive presentations, sustainability campaigns, and live press events seen by audiences worldwide. I care deeply about the thinking behind the work — how a visual system scales, how a story earns trust, how design makes something complex feel clear.
What drives me is the challenge of translating big, messy ideas into something cohesive and inevitable-feeling. Whether I'm directing a shoot, building a presentation framework for a C-suite audience, or shaping the visual language for a product category, I'm always working toward the same thing: design that doesn't just look right, but does something.
I hold a BFA in Graphic Design from SCAD, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and served as AIGA Club President. I'm based in Portland, ME, and currently open to new creative opportunities.
Outside of work I'm always finding ways to stay curious — surfing, knitting (yes, I knit the sweater in that headshot), and generally saying yes to things I haven't tried before.
